I have been taking my vehicles to Paul's on Falls Road for many years... and recommending to friends and family. They do great and honest work. You won't hear them suggesting unnecessary work to be done.

A place to rely on.

The people who work here are nice and I've had a few good experiences with their quality of work. However, today I brought in my car for a tire patch. I didn't ask the price because I've known them to be reasonable and fair. While they were quick and accommodating, they charged me $90 for a simple patch job. When I mentioned how a new tire is not much more than that cost, I was told things have changed and I was wrong. I drove a few blocks to Ruxton Car Care and asked how much they charge for the same service. They told me $20. Kelly Blue Book also states that a reasonable price is between $25- $40. I was really disappointed to find how high and predatory the pricing was this service.

I had a problem with my 2012 Volvo XC70. I had taken it several times to my usual mechanic and the problem was still undiagnosed. Seeing that Paul's Automotive came up when I searched for "Volvo Mechanics", I brought the car to them and they found the problem, which was not an easy problem to find since it was a part that was failing intermittently. They have a text system to update customers once you leave the car and a full report sent with photos and a video of the problem. I was even shown the part and given an explanation on the way it works. Great experience!

Paul and his team do a great job of explaining issues, showing you what your car does (or doesn't need) and communicating through the repair process.
